Caye Caulker Island Guide (website and apps) is run by Wolf Pack Works LLC. This page explains what the guide stores and why. Last updated 13 October 2026.

Without an account

• When you open the guide it creates an anonymous ID (Firebase Authentication). It is not linked to your name or email.
• Places you save as favorites are stored under that anonymous ID so they survive a reload.
• Your location, if you allow it, is used on your device to show distances and walking routes. It is not sent to us.
• When you tap a booking link we record which business and which booking site, with a random session ID, to count bookings. No personal details.
• When you answer “Is this information correct?” on a listing we store your answer with your anonymous ID, so each visitor counts once.
• If analytics is on, Google Analytics for Firebase records anonymous usage (screens viewed, searches, filters, taps on booking links). Google signals and ad personalization are off.

When you give us details

• Claiming a business: the name, contact and note you enter, so we can verify you.
• Reporting wrong information: what you mark as wrong, your correction and, only if you enter one, the email or WhatsApp number you give us. We use the contact only to ask about that report.
• Booking a charter: payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card. We store your name, email and phone from checkout and share them with the operator running your trip.
• Premium Pass: purchases on the website are processed by RevenueCat and Stripe, linked to your anonymous ID.
• Business owners: the email you sign in with, your listings and, if you set up payouts, your Stripe account ID.

Other services the guide uses

• Google Firebase (hosting, database, sign-in, analytics), Stripe and RevenueCat (payments), Open-Meteo (island weather; your location is not sent).
• Links to Viator and other booking sites open their own websites, which have their own privacy policies.

Deleting your data

Remove favorites in the app at any time. To delete anything else we hold about you (a claim, a booking record, an owner account), email hello@cayecaulkerislandguide.com from the address you used; we delete it within 30 days, except payment records we must keep for accounting.

We do not sell personal data.
