Your business is already on the Caye Caulker Island Guide. Claim it and keep it right.

The Caye Caulker Island Guide is a free map and guide that visitors use during their stay: where to eat, which bars have happy hour, how to reach a tour or a ferry, where the ATM is. Facts on a listing show where they came from and the date. If your listing is wrong or thin, you can fix it yourself in a few minutes, and it costs nothing.

What you get by claiming (free)

• Edit your own hours, phone, website, Facebook, Instagram and happy hour at cayecaulkerislandguide.com/owner. These changes show on your listing straight away.
• Changes to your name or description are read by a person first, so a typo does not reach the map.
• Send us a message from the same page. A person reads it and answers.
• If you close for the slow season, tell us the dates and the listing is hidden until you reopen. Visitors do not walk to a closed door.

How to claim

1. Find your business on the map at cayecaulkerislandguide.com and open your listing.
2. Tap "Are you the owner? Claim this business" and send the form. You can give an email address, a WhatsApp number, or both.
3. We check that you run the business. The quickest ways: your email ends in your own website's address, or you send us a short code from the WhatsApp number shown on your listing.
4. When the claim is approved you get a sign-in link by email. No password.

If you give only a phone number, we will ask you for an email address, because the sign-in link goes by email. We read every claim.

Partner kit: put the guide where your guests are

The kit is being prepared and the files are not ready yet. Claimed businesses get them when they are; there is nothing to buy.

For each claimed business we are making a QR card, ready to print or to show on a phone. It opens your own page on the guide, so a guest at your counter can see your hours, your phone and where you are on the map, and the rest of the island around you.

• Counter card: your business name, a QR code to your page, and the line "Find us, and everything on Caye Caulker, in the Caye Caulker Island Guide."
• Table tent for bars and restaurants: your name, the QR code, and a line about hours and happy hour.
• Badge for your website and Instagram: "Listed on Caye Caulker Island Guide", linked to your page. It says "Listed", never "Verified", "Recommended" or "Top rated".

Hotels and guesthouses: a card in the room or at reception puts the guide in the guest's hand on arrival. It covers the questions a guest has on day one: where to eat tonight, where the ATM is, and the ferry once its timetable is confirmed.

Does it work offline?

The guide and your saved places work offline after one visit. The offline map comes with the US$2.99 Premium Pass, which lasts 7 days.

What we do not do

We do not sell or book tours, stays, rentals or transport. We do not take a payment from you to be listed. The guide shows each business's own contact details, and the guest contacts you directly. The guide may include affiliate links to booking sites for travelers who want them, and it says so on the page where they appear.
